There are many ways that you can help stop the spread of invasive weeds in your area. Whether you’re a resident, a property manager, an educator, or someone looking for volunteer opportunities, there’s a way for you to take part in protecting native plants and habitats.
- REMOVE – Check local invasive species resources and remove any offenders you find on your property – disposing of them properly so they can’t propagate.
- REPORT– Find an invasive? Report it through the Oregon Invasives Hotline!
- VOLUNTEER – There are many ongoing opportunities to take part in weed pulls in your area. Check our partners’ websites for event schedules, or take a Weed Watchers training course, listed under events.
- EDUCATE – Letting people know which species are harmful is half the battle – share our fact sheets and other resources with friends, students, and neighbors.
